In October 2014, I started a new position as associate professor at the University of Bonn. Please visit the new webpage of her group in Bonn.
Before that I was an assistant professor (Juniorprofessorin) at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Freiburg and head of the group for Humanoid Robots.
In the course of my research career, I have developed several innovative solutions for robotic systems co-existing and interacting with humans. Among them are probabilistic techniques for navigation with humanoid and wheeled robots as well as for reliably detecting and tracking humans from sensor data and analyzing their motions.
See the research page of my group for further details.
My detailed Curriculum Vitae can be found in this document.
